Jury member for the Research through Architecture category, 2020 edition

He is an architect by profession, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu”, Bucharest (2003) and from the Master's program “Conservation of Historical Monuments” at the same university (2005). In 2008, he obtained his PhD in Architecture at UAUIM. Since 2003, he has been a lecturer at the Department of History & Theory of Architecture and Heritage Preservation at UAUIM, in parallel with his design practice in his private studio. Member of OAR, RUR and expert in heritage protection, certified by the Ministry of Culture, with participation in national and international conferences, author and co-author of books, articles, research papers and exhibitions in the field of history and conservation of cultural heritage. Since 2012, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the UAUIM, and since 2016 he becomes the Vice-Rector for the areas of research, development, innovation and professional practice of the UAUIM. In 2020 he becomes dean of the Faculty of Architecture UAUIM and from 2024 president of the UAUIM Senate.

He is the winner of the Book of Architecture section of the Annual of Architecture, Bucharest, 2013, edition XI, for the publication: Johann Schlatter: western culture and Romanian architecture (1831-1866)

He obtained in 2014, the prize for Architectural Publications - Ex Aequo, National Biennale of Architecture XI, Bucharest, 2014 for the same publication.

In 2017, he was awarded the “Matei Brâncoveanu” prize offered by the Alexandrion Foundation for Architecture.
