Authors’ Comment

PARAdise collection is an experiment at the intersection of design and art, old and new, light and shadow. The collection pays homage to modern sculpture while challenging today's contemporary techniques using plant-based and recycled materials.
By using technologies such as 3D printing, we are provided with a sustainable workflow being able to combine circular production with timeless design.
This technique aims to develop a vast repertoire of shapes and textures creating unique design pieces, such as vases, planters, fruits bowl and lamps for your space. The Studio develops new production methods, more sustainable and increasingly efficient thanks to modern technologies.
The material choice is EU-sourced filaments from recycled plastic - made of recycled drinking bottles and bioderived materials produced initially from corn starch but recycled again from food packaging. For every kilogram of PET filament, it was used the equivalent of 79 plastic bottles.
The process is based on avoiding creating more objects than needed, so the objects do not physically exist until you choose to own one, so each reflects your participation in its creation. The design is optimized to avoid post-processing and building additional supports to reduce unnecessary waste and pollution.
