"Bill's Buffet" is a 12m long object that looks like a table, feels like an installation and acts like a public sculpture. It's my biggest metal work to date, a clear intention that works on different levels: intimate, slow and dynamic, public. Specific curvatures can unite, dissipate, attract or energize. You can sit at the table, stand around the object, eat or drink, turn it into a temporary base for a market. Its "size" operates on a human scale and carries a magnetic energy that always generates awe. I realized that working on this scale, the object acts in another dimension – a public one; and it works. This object was part of the first edition of RAD Design, which took place at Hotel Caro in Bucharest.
