The building heritage is mirrored in the eye of the beholder, reflected in the memorial-symbolic value which is encapsulated and passed on through emotion. Every building was once loved, otherwise it would not have been built. Someone waited for the architect to finalize the plans, for the authorities to authorize the construction, for the craftsmen to lift brick upon brick, lay the mortar, lay the roofing sheet. A historic building invested with so much hope and expectation deserves to be rediscovered, to be loved again. And you can't love what you don't know. So the stories that begin with "Aici a stat" evoke the life and achievements of those who lived, loved, and eventually left a historic building. And we wanted to create an arch in time and space between immovable and movable heritage: to create an object that carries the symbolic value of a heritage construction. And the ideal object for contemplation is the chair. We created a carved wooden chair that takes the symbols of an inaccessible building to the general public: the Bosianu villa in Carol Park, one of the Unionist architectural and historical landmarks in Bucharest. And "ȘEZI (SIT)" becomes an invitation for the heritage lover to sit down and witness an indoor show. Once the action of staying is consumed, the emotion remains. "Aici a stat ( Here Stood and Lived)" becomes a manifesto, an invitation to the viewer to experience the emotion of the historical place that the chair evokes.
