Andrei Lakatoș

Andrei Eugen Lakatoș is an architect, researcher and PhD lecturer in the Basics of Architectural Design Department of the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest. His teaching and research explore the relationship between architectural design, the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, industrial heritage and urban regeneration. He is the author of Conversion in Context. About the Industrial Spaces Regeneration (Arhitext Design Foundation, 2017). His professional practice reflects an enduring interest in reusing existing structures and fostering a dialogue between memory, context and contemporary intervention.
