Dorothée Hasnaș

Dorothée Hasnaș is an architect, editor, curator and cultural manager whose work focuses on architectural heritage, urban memory and architectural culture. She studied architecture in Bucharest, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. In 2011 she took part, as a member of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit, in the Swiss post-earthquake reconstruction programme in Haiti, and later spent more than four years working at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Istanbul. Back in Romania, she has coordinated exhibitions and cultural initiatives that approach heritage as a contemporary resource. She is a curator of Street Delivery, an initiator of the Uranus Now platform, an editor at Zeppelin magazine and heritage advisor to the Bucharest Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects. She has also coordinated research publications such as Goldstein Maicu: Modern Villas, Constanța, 1931–1940, helping to document and communicate architectural heritage to a wider public.
