Dragomir Drăgan

Dragomir Drăgan is an architect and president of the Timiș Territorial Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects. He graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Politehnica University of Timișoara, where he also teaches. After graduating he completed internships in architecture offices in France and the United States, and since 2009 he has run his own practice, D-ConteXt Studio (DCXS), which regularly takes part in the Timișoara Architecture Annual and in competitions in France. His work includes the extension and new façade of the Hotel Lido in Timișoara. As head of the branch, he advocates a more visible role for architects in public life, through events, exhibitions and involvement in local decision-making.
