Giuseppe Farris

Giuseppe Farris was born in Cagliari, Italy. He obtained his master's degree in architecture at the University of Architecture of Venice (IUAV), with Aldo Rossi, Bernardo Secchi and Manfredo Tafuri as his mentors.

He is the founder of Studio Farris (2008) in Antwerp, Belgium. The studio receives international recognition in 2010 - with the renovation of Loketten, the Flemish Parliament Counter Hall in Brussels. 

Notable projects: the extension of the City Library in Bruges and the master plan and development of the Antwerp Zoo.

Honors include the Design Vanguard Award in New York City as emerging generation of the world's most talented architects, German Design Awards, as well as twice winner of the ARC16 (interior + furniture).
