Mihaela Lazăr

Jury member for the Portfolio Architecture category, 2025 edition

She graduated from the Faculty of Interior Architecture at UAUIM in 2010. She continued her studies at the Doctoral School "Space, Image, Text, Territory" 2011-2015 with her PhD thesis: "Transitional Urban Spaces as Public-Private Interaction/Negotiation. Passages, gangways, inner courtyards in the historic center of Bucharest". During his PhD, he obtained a "Vasile Pârvan" research and postdoctoral training scholarship at the Accademia di Romania in Rome, a scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

She is a lecturer at the Interior Design and Design Department of UAUIM. He also participates in conferences, workshops, competitions and workshops.

Mihaela was awarded with the Diploma of Excellence for outstanding contributions to the promotion of Romanian architecture, awarded by the Union of Romanian Architects, November 2012, respectively the prize of the sponsor "Construction Scholarship" at the 2012 Architecture Biennale for the project "MO-BILE, Edition III", executed with the students of the second year, Interior Architecture, UAUIM.
