Mihaela Șerban

Mihaela Șerban (Romania) is an architect and was vice-president of AMAIS, where she specialises in inclusive design and accessibility. She designs in her own architecture office and collaborates with various local architecture offices.  She was a guest assistant at the Faculty of Architecture at UAUIM in Dorin Ștefan's studio and at the Faculty of Interior Design in Cristina Pană's studio. He has collaborated with the Roma Museum on various social projects where he worked with international designers and the Roma community. He wrote the competition theme ‘Help Campus Inclusive Camp’ organised by the Bucharest Territorial Branch of the Order of Architects of Romania and is curating the 2023 Architecture Annual, where he will create the Bucharest Inclusive exhibition.

She pays special attention to users in the design process and develops methods for understanding and integrating their needs into architecture.
