Raluca Buzdugan

In 1995, together with Vlad Simionescu, she founded the firm "Vlad Simionescu & Associations" which received The Best Architectural Office of the Year 2014 at the prestigious CIJ Awards Romania.

Raluca was a visiting professor at UAUIM for 15 years, teaching artistic lighting at the same school she graduated from. Passionate about painting and design, she has works exhibited in international collections. Raluca is also passionate about theoretical research in architecture, her most recent book "Safe Spaces 2(m)-020", written in collaboration with an international team of researchers, received the Architecture Magazine Award in the Architecture Publications section at the 2021 Architecture Biennale, organized by the Romanian Union of Architects.
