Sebastian Săvescu

Sebastian Săvescu is an architect, president of the Iași Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects since 2026 and a member of the OAR National Council. He is a co-founder of the Iași-based practice SAM ideas, where he leads complex projects; the office’s portfolio includes more than 600 projects, from interiors and housing to large residential complexes and buildings for healthcare, education and culture. These include Conest Grand Residence, the IRO Iași Diagnostic Centre and the Andreica–AstraDent clinic, and he is currently working on the Varlaam Educational Campus. From 2022 he served as vice-president of the branch, coordinating organisation, partnerships and member relations, including its architecture conferences. He also writes on Apix.ro about the value of architectural design and the permitting process.
