Yoshihide Kobanawa

In 1997, he was an architect and a graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts and Music, and in 2001 he completed a Master’s degree in landscape architecture at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. After working for a period at RCR Aranda Pigem Vilalta Arquitectes, he founded Kobfuji Architects in 2008, together with Kaoro Fujii, where he continues to practise today. Between 1999 and 2005, he collaborated with Arata Isozaki & Associates. He curated exhibitions on Japanese architecture held in Lisbon and, in 2006, at the Bucharest Architecture Biennale.
