Bucharest Summit of European Capitals for Architecture, Urbanism and Administration

The Bucharest Branch of Romanian Order of Architects invites you to the Summit of European Capitals for Architecture, Urbanism and Administration.

The event takes place on Wednesday, March 25-26, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.

The summit is organized within the framework of the Bucharest Architecture Annual 2026, the 24th edition, being an international event through which we bring together valuable experiences from the administrative environment alongside those from the professional, architectural, design and urbanism environments in Europe, examples that can inspire and ensure future actions useful for the development of European cities.

This year the summit has two important themes:

1. Urban Regeneration in European Cities

2. The Development and Future of the Architectural Profession in the Context of Artificial Intelligence

The topic proposes two complementary discourses:

1. a) the impact of new technologies, economics and multidisciplinary fields on the architectural profession; how Artificial Intelligence will affect the field of architecture in the future.

2. b) creative ways and strategies to intervene in complex, extreme sites.

Participation in the European Capitals Summit for Architecture, Urbanism and Administration event is free and is based on registration, within the limit of available places.

The event is held thanks to the generous collaboration between OAR Bucharest, Bucharest City Hall, Ivan Patzaichin Association, Share Architects, French Cultural Institute, Romanian Cultural Institute.
