The interior design concept particularly focus on the proportions and rhythm inspired by yoga mats and postures. The building itself is adaptable on site, with specific orientations for each module, allowing the space to express the act of breathing and the feeling of release. This creates a duality in the perception and chromatic experience of the space, fostering a peaceful, warm, meditative, and contemplative atmosphere.
Sustainable materials, including prefabricated elements, are utilized throughout, with the structure expressed both inside and outside. The design allows for potential further development, emphasizing flexibility and sustainability.
The functional layout of the space is carefully considered, with specific treatments for both common and private areas. There is a clear separation of traffic and utilities, with intimate spaces provided with separate openings. Service spaces are efficiently located or coupled, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the building.
The building features protruding volumes clad in corrugated olive-green metal sheets, which provide a visual connection to the natural environment. Plywood wall panels are finished in harmonious pastel shades, enhancing the aesthetic appeal. Linking passageways lead to accommodation rooms, with custom furniture and floor finishes creating defined walking paths and directing views. A central "green box" serves as a multifunctional module, accommodating various communal and service functions. The convertible spaces within the building allow for temporary closures using panels or curtains, adding to the versatility of the design.
The structure is based on a prefabricated CLT (cross-laminated timber) system, with a wooden frame that is externally clad in dark-colored wood. The rhythm of the vertical and horizontal structural elements is consistent both inside and outside the building. The building is designed to suit areas with significant precipitation, featuring specific roof slopes, connecting walkways, and deck platforms supported by a wooden structure with adjustable metal support legs.
The interior spaces are treated with finishes that correspond to their specific functions. For instance, the access hall/lobby/lounge, kitchen and dining area, yoga practice zone, living room, and accommodation units are all designed with appropriate materials and layouts to enhance their usability and aesthetic appeal. The accommodation units vary slightly, with Unit Type A including an outside terrace, and both types featuring separate bathrooms and showers.
Due to light-colored plaster finish for the ceiling and wood finish floor , the interior design harmoniously blends functionality with aesthetics, creating a space that is both adaptable and deeply connected to the principles of the main theme. The careful selection of materials, structural elements, and spatial organization reflects a commitment to sustainability, comfort, and the creation of a serene environment.
