EXFOLIATED

Multimedia assembly based on materials collected from performative installations developed at /SAC@Malmaison during 2021-2023.
Vests from "Isolation in a series of liminal states", curtains from "FFFF", jumping trampolines from "Volum de somn" and remixed projections from all three installations.
The jumping trampolines folded at 90 degrees and transformed into transparent projection media, placed between banner vests and theater curtain backgrounds.
Juxtaposition of images and content in a mobile frame that can be transformed by visitors.

3 years of /SAC Malmaison in 33 m3.
Three performative installations whose material traces are fused into a single projection system.
Video-fragments of liminal states multiplied by interlacing elastic fragments from Volume of Sleep, pleated fragments from F and text fragments from Isolation.
3 years compressed and defragmented in a synchronous peeling mechanism. Installations that followed each other in time overlapped at the same time.
The jumping trampolines act as screens to multiply the image that ends up deformed on the gray curtains folded and moved by the fans.
Vests with extracts from "Isolation" that emphasize the "exfoliation" of the projections and at the same time project moving shadows on the curtains.
Alternate between still images and movie.
With static images the movement produced by the fans is accentuated.

The installation will be reconfigured after the first week. We mount the jumping trampolines on wheels so they can be easily moved from place to place.
The sound will be that of the fans and it will have in the background (very slowly) Vlaicu Golcea's soundscape from "Volum de Somn".
Digital information multiplied in an analog system where the horizontal plane of the trampolines is folded 90 degrees and becomes the screen. Micro-perforated vests that interfere with the images and we project the shadow on the layer of gray velvet with folds set in motion by the fans”.
