Authors’ Comment

The "Ephemera" Pavilion was created with the purpose of offering children a temporary space within the ArchyFest2024 festival, where they could assign it any function they desired. It could serve as a canvas for drawing with chalk on the floor, or be transformed into a stage for dancing and singing. The concept behind the pavilion was to evoke the idea of ephemerality through a delicate and flexible structure that changes shape under external influences.

"Ephemera" invites contemplation and interaction, offering a contrast between the fragility of the upper structure and the firmness of the base, suggesting a parallel between the fleeting moments of childhood and the stability needed to support them. This is a piece that encourages creativity and play for children, while providing adults with a space for reflection and relaxation.

The elevated base prevents accidents, creating an isolated space where children can draw and play without being disturbed or becoming an obstacle for passersby.
