Authors’ Comment

A house at the threshold between city and forest, in search for the nature that is being evacuated from what used to be a garden-city, nowadays in a strong process of densification. Behind a more reserved street facade, a white compact volume is being sculpted along the valuable visual connections with the private yard, the neighbouring forest and the horizon towards the city. Thus, some daring glazed openings and a partly covered terrace are being generated towards south-west, with consideration for natural illumination and sun protection, in a judicious, quasi-independent energy approach.
