The rough manner of the design, both in materiality/ material (solid oak), and in the structure, makes a powerful contrast with the fragile appearance given by the floating line of the table top, which is raised three centimeters above the table’s foot frame. The main idea is simplicity and tension in an object which is in the same time utilitarian and sculptural.
