The EEKELS Headquarters Romania building is developed as a beacon of craftsmanship for a company servicing the Galati shipyard, that becomes a reference point for the still to be defined context. The monolithic, trapeze shaped volume, both in plan and section, is a result of a continuous negotiation between the representative role, the need to host both production and office activities and the site constraints. The materiality of the object is a dialogue between the horizontal and the diagonal, between a raw industrial appearance and the lightness of interior space. A BIM design workflow employed lead to a precise rendering into reality of the designed object.Related projects:
