The installations explores ways in which people become aware that they are together through the main senses - sight, touch and hearing. The interaction between people seems to be more and more limited, which is why the proposal enhances the senses in order to be aware of the human presence in a different way.
WITH YOUR HEAD
Within this installation, visitors can only communicate through gaze as they enter the alcove simultaneously through the access points. The neutral vegetal frame transposed to infinity represents the context of the meeting between people and their connection on a visual level.
WITH YOUR HEART
The tactile perception of the space is influenced by the number of people simultaneously present in the room and the type of movements they undertake, moving the volume of water housed by the balloons and molding on the chests of the adjacent silhouettes.
WITH YOUR STEPS
The presence in the space and any type of human interaction is transposed through the floor on a sound level and then on a visual level. Every movement of a visitor is felt by others through sound and light. Each movement composes the space and the state of the people present in the room, initially through a sound manifestation, and later a light, a visual signal.
How the instalation works:
WITH YOUR HEAD
The atmosphere of the first room is oppressive at first sight, with the ceiling lowered to 2m high and the logo as the only source of light. The perimeter terraces related to the slit in the ceiling invites you to discover the hidden space in the ceiling niche. The reflection of the frail tree trunks prompts a deep look to visitors across the room, ensuring eye contact.
WITH YOUR HEART
To enter the space, visitors have to move the volume of water, navigating through the "domino" pieces. Movement in the presence of other people in the room guarantees tactile interaction between them. In this space, movement becomes a game and automatically an interaction.
WITH YOUR STEPS
The third experience descends to floor level. Entering the space and the sound of footsteps on the mineral floor signal the human presence through sound and the activation of LED strips. Light and sound are conditioned by movements which will generate a dynamic atmosphere.
