NM House is a contemporary residence designed for a young family seeking a well-organized, open, and flexible space able to accommodate two generations. The house is developed on a single level, following the length of the site and taking full advantage of both the terrain geometry and optimal southern orientation. The floor plan proposes a natural zoning, with a subtle separation between the generous, open day area and the more private, protected night zone.

The volumetric composition is both simple and expressive, articulated through a play of vertical shifts that culminate at the entrance, marked by a generous canopy. This architectural element not only defines the access point but also plays a key role in shaping the expressive character of the façade.

The day area opens widely toward a south-facing terrace, creating a direct connection with the garden and extending the living space outdoors. The entire house is surrounded by mature vegetation, offering both intimacy and a strong integration into the natural landscape.

Material choices contribute to a calm yet nuanced visual identity: dark walnut wood contrasts with smooth white plaster, while the base is clad in anthracite ceramic tiles, lending a sense of grounded solidity. This careful interplay of textures and tones enhances the clarity of the architectural volumes.

From the outset, the project was conceived from the inside out. The interior design was developed in parallel with the architecture, ensuring spatial coherence and a continuous dialogue between the interior and the surrounding environment.
