Authors’ Comment

The building is placed at the intersection of two streets with several houses in an area of a fragmented urban fabric. Considering this aspect, the idea that defines the building is to fracture the volume so it does not create a discordant note with the overall scale of the emplacement. The division of the four registers given by the different levels (ground floor and the three stories above it) was made for an independent volumetric expression for each level, an independence, at the scale of the entire object besides the mentioned fragmentation, that can also create a vibration that is, in our opinion, in the advantage of the construction. The building is white, precisely to highlight the autonomous movement of each register, a fact that is also amplified by the predominance of fullness in relation to the horizontal hollow areas. In contrast with the upper floors, the ground floor is completely glazed, allowing passersby to see the products and the LED panels, placed in the showcase area, running advertisements. The facades will be ventilated and Eternit boards will be used to finish the building. The first floor, also the biggest one, has a large green terrace above, available to the conference room and all the employees from the building.
