Authors’ Comment

The apartment has been transformed from a functional point of view to accommodate different types of users in order to list the property on Airbnb. Partitioning the space in order to get a separate bedroom was a challenge as there is only one window. We opted for a transparent partition (glass wall) doubled by an opaque one (curtains) that ensures privacy when needed. The resulting space is a flexible one that can accommodate both leisure and business travelers.
