Authors’ Comment

Taking on the project from a stage at which the construction works were completed but no finishes nor installations were applied, gave us great freedom in transforming the building into a house perfectly adapted to the owner’s needs, desires and lifestyle. The ground floor is organized around the open-space area (kitchen, dining and living rooms) and is destined for usage by the whole family. On the same floor there is the parent’s bedroom and a guest room each with its own bathroom. This way, the entire upper floor was allocated to the family’s children. A modern, but warm and welcoming setting was desired; this was possible by the use of various essences of wood in all rooms.
