Authors’ Comment

The design brief for this two-room apartment was to design a space with personality, sleek, masculine and stylish. We chose to create a contrasting image by combining cool materials such as dark slate, black marble, steel with warm-textured elements like wood and velvet. The overall feeling of this design is simple, yet sophisticated because of the mixture of elements with simple geometry, intersections of volumes, asymmetrical compositions, having the circle as a lait motive.
