A two-level duplex apartment in Floreasca, Bucharest is organized as it shows – the living area on the ground floor and the sleeping areas upstairs, connected by a floating stairway that geometrically transforms into a working desk. The overall feeling is of simplicity, yet sophisticated and elegant because of the combination of natural textures, especially wood and marble, mixed with luxury materials such as brass and velvet, spiced with a few tones of color. The accent wall, which gives personality to the whole space is the one in the stairway which represents an exotic scenery with zoomorphic motifs.
