The series of interventions aimed at emphasizing the relationship between the student community in the University of Architecture and Urbanism and the surrounding environment, by creating connections inside U.A.U.I.M. - and outside.
Students-University-City.
In order to achieve this, the interventions stemmed from the very core of the University – its interior courtyard– and made their way outside, to the space underneath the portico and towards the Quinet street. This way, the punctual interventions are devised to act like a synergistic whole, interconnected and linked on different levels, working towards achieving the same goal.
The projects developed in order to achieve our aim are included in four major programs : P_TER& TER- (these programmes’ aim is to bring urban art and color inside UAUIM, by engaging both local and foreign artists to paint murals on the interior courtyard walls), FLADER_ING-BETWEEN LINES & b_LOC( which are focused on designing and building urban furniture, all the while directly engaging students – future architects- in the process of getting acquainted with different traditional construction materials : wood, ceramic blocks).
