Authors’ Comment

The design concept was creating a unitary space that integrates two areas: the coffee shop and the roastery. Thinking about the roasting process along with the machines that are being used, the industrial style naturally found its place in the design. The delimitation of the two spaces was realised by using a wireframe transparent wall, made of metal and glass, but also through the choice of wall colors and flooring type. "Celadon", the special hue of green used in the roasting area, was named "mi se" for centuries in China - meaning "the mysterious color".
