Located in the center of Bucharest, near Tineretului park, the furnished home will be inhabited by a young couple. The client’s brief was: "a modern and classic apartment at the same time, with a slight Parisian air." Indeed, the two had very different and contrasting design opinions. I opted for a contemporary style design, with reinterpreted classic style influences. Parisian style combines the old and the new but also combines luxury and tradition. I chose very elegant decorative elements such as stucco on the walls and ceilings. The proposed furniture is minimalist with glam luxury accents. As a color range, I used a lot of white and gray on the walls and dark gray microcement. On the white wall in the living room I introduced the emerald green sofa as an accent. The wall with the TV is a very dark gray microcement, so that the TV is lost against this dark background. The fireplace has baroque influences and is accessorized with a black painting that creates depth. Black is also a unifying element in Parisian homes. For the glam look, I opted for brass finish accents: handles, faucets, chair legs, etc. I chose parquet in the shade of natural oak, installed Chevron type. With the exception of the bathroom, where I proposed microcement, the flooring is the same throughout the home and creates a unified look. Since the apartment is located next to a park and the clients are plants and nature lovers, we introduced pots and plant stands in every room, so that it seems that nature continues its course in this space.
