The building in Strada Triumfului is located in one of the historical protected areas of Bucharest - Parcelarea Bazilescu, on a narrow and long land, with an area of 300 square meters, with an opening to the street of 9 m, characteristics that are part of the specifics of this area. The house, distributed on ground floor and first floor, is positioned on the east side, adjoined to the neighboring building, a wagon-type house. In this sense, the concept aimed to place the house in the depth of the land and create an intimate inner garden / courtyard at the back of the plot, towards which the main living spaces (living area, dining area) should be oriented. The main access in the house is made from the west side, in the central part of the building, thus facilitating an efficient functional zoning, with the main vertical circulation in proximity. The ground floor is divided into two functional areas by the entrance hall. The back part includes the living area with open kitchen, dining and living area with access to the garden terrace, and in the front area we placed an office, technical room and a small bathroom.
Upstairs is the night area, consisting of three bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom with the related facilities (individual bathroom, dressing room), a bedroom for the child and another guest bedroom. The placement of the windows sought to obtain favorable and pleasant views of the surrounding context, part of them having loggias, whose arrangement accentuates the longitudinal axis of the house.A main attraction for the family is the courtyard garden, which offers privacy and an outdoor recreation space, quiet and safe from the daily city hustle and noise pollution due to traffic in the area.
Regarding the sustainability aspects of the building, it is equipped with an air-to-water heat pump and photovoltaic panels on the roof terrace.
