The collection translates an architectural approach to modular assembly to the scale of an object: light core, lamp body and shade. All five models use the same assembly system, with a detachable LED module and threaded joints. Modularity and repairability are key principles of the collection. If a component wears out or fails, only that part needs to be replaced. The lamp can therefore remain in use rather than being discarded.
The modular system also enables personalisation through the choice of colours and materials for each part. The lamp body and shade can be combined in distinct ways and reconfigured over time to suit individual preferences and interior settings.
Rising folds, undulating surfaces, vertical ribs, a raised lattice and a conical profile create five expressions of the same construction logic. Proportion, rhythm and the depth of the relief define both the silhouette and the way the surface is perceived in light. When unlit, the lamps gain expression through the shadows across their surfaces; when lit, their translucent shades reveal their geometry through light.
3D printing creates the form, texture and joints, with the printed layers remaining visible in the material. The pieces are printed in matte PLA and translucent PLA/PETG materials. The LED module integrates a 3,000 mAh battery, USB-C charging, touch control, dimming and three colour temperatures: warm, neutral and cool. Battery power allows the lamp to be repositioned within a space without a cable during use.
