Tables and benches of the French Revolution eclairs shops are made of identical pieces of solid walnut (or MDF) in the shape of the product, the éclair.

The design responds to the brief of accommodating short visits of the customers to have an éclair and a coffee. The seating had to be informal, to accommodate groups of friends or families but to avoid the comfort of a long time visit as it is not the intended purpose of the venues. The lack of comfort is compensated by the friendly roundness of the solid walnut top.

The family mostly consists of fixed furniture as to avoid moving it around while the fixed structure allows also for an elegant appearance of almost floating. The family has also options for free standing when fixing in the floor is not possible.

The outdoor version is movable as fixing is rarely possible and the tops are made of iroko instead of walnut for its weather resisting qualities. The top is made of two pieces both to provide one more way for the water to disperse and to reduce the number of glued wood planks.

The "Éclair" family: fixed low bench and table, fixed high bench and tables, stools, rest support, moveable bench and table, outdoor movable bench and table, round bench and table, moveable family of chairs and tables compatible with the main solid family.
