An ensemble of 3 tabletops crafted from heat-treated stainless steel using an open-flame burning process.

Specially designed to be integrated into a museum foyer context (ArtSafari NewMuseum), the ensemble provides the modularity required by the brief (events where long tables are useful) while simultaneously reflecting the diversity and uniqueness inherent to an art gallery.
Through this treatment, the property stainless steel has to change its color depending on temperature is being highlighted, making the result unique for each individual tabletop: a stainless steel “canvas” painted with fire.
The free-form contour of the tops references the splashes of color found in contemporary painting.
