Authors’ Comment
The PIXEL Table is part of The Missing Piece collection. Its design takes the modular mosaic grid as a starting point, reinterpreting it through a deconstructed composition.
The table is made from gloss-painted MDF, with locally sourced mosaic inlays and handcrafted ceramic elements. The composition explores the relationship between the continuous MDF surface and the fragmented mosaic surface. “The Missing Piece” interrupts the regularity of the grid and distinguishes each table.
Color can be customized while retaining the same geometry and compositional logic.
