The project is part of an implementation-based competition organized by the Order of Architects of Romania (OAR), with the aim of designing and producing a portable and ergonomic system for displaying competition boards.

The jurying of architectural projects is a stage that involves both logistical and physical efforts in organizing exhibition spaces, with the quality of this organization directly influencing the smooth running of the judging process.

The project presented below was selected for the implementation of 50 units, which will serve as the framework through which OAR displays architectural competitions and organizes public exhibitions. Below is the concept and an image of the module:

The design of the exhibition system promotes the principle of visual equity, where differentiation is achieved through content rather than through the display support. The idea behind the exhibition system is to create a discreet and unobtrusive support that remains visually neutral—a framework that does not dominate the boards, but rather supports them.
In other words, a system that visually disappears, providing maximum visibility to the content, without creating hierarchies between projects and without competing with the competition boards. The same minimalist structure throughout. The boards are attached easily and quickly using four included clips that do not affect the integrity of the competition boards.

The object is robust and adaptable: it can be used both indoors and outdoors, with the material treated to withstand weather conditions. Even potential signs of wear on the metal become a subtle patina rather than visual imperfections. In addition, the module is lightweight, foldable, and easy to store. The solution is therefore sustainable and adaptable in the long term, optimizing the costs and logistical steps involved in setting up exhibitions. The OAR logo is positioned on the side of the module, metaphorically suggesting an exhibition system that refers to the image of OAR—not as an institution that asserts itself aggressively, but as one that guides, supports, and promotes architectural competitions.
The logo thus conveys a message of subtle yet essential involvement: a presence, rather than a dominant element of the exhibition.

We therefore believe that, through this product, we offer a thoughtful representation of the institution, contributing to greater public awareness of high-quality architectural projects commissioned through public procurement.
