“The Thin Thread Line” is the second curatorial project in the “Red Line” cycle initiated with the “Notes from Underground” exhibition.
Thread line instead of red line (the movie). Horizontal stitching for works with the same horizon. Literally. The objects on the walls of /SAC Berthelot are hung “in stripe”. 1.60 m from the floor. Which generates vertical “sliding” depending on the horizon line of each “painting”. Oscilloscope with a fixed horizon. Rectangles that instead of being centered on a common elevation go up or down according to the rule given by the “thread”. Linear path with a dance of paintings on the walls.
Objects raised on atypical pedestals that bring the “sculptures” to the same level.
From the terrace to the balcony and from the stairs to the bathroom, a single weaving rule.
Horizon 1600 with closed balcony (with level elevation) and terrace with mirror games in the courtyard.
The red line on the balcony poster aligns with the side slots of the box and transfers the horizon from the first floor inside the exhibition; to the mirrors mounted on the terrace in the inner courtyard:
