“From craft to music” is an exhibition dedicated to the art of lutheria, which invites the audience to discover the complex process through which musical instruments with strings, handmade from local resonance wood, are born. The exhibition shows both completed instruments and parts in various stages of production, providing a detailed picture of the clay craft.
A composition of 4 prisms with similar dimensions (2 pillars with a 65 x 65 cm base and white display units 64 cm wide) placed in a room with white reflections and an echo level unsuitable for chamber concerts.
The electric blue color accents appear in the graphic elements on the informational panels, built from the same transparent material as the mechanically assembled cases for the finished instruments.
Note: The exhibition “From Crafts to Music” is part of the RDW Exhibitions format, presented by Rompetrol and co-product by the Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB.
