A temporary exhibition curated by the National History Museum of Romania, organized in partnership with the Embassy of Romania in Italy, under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and the High Patronage of the President of Italy, and presented in the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, at the Forum Baths. It is an educational exhibition without artefacts, based on multimedia techniques including holographic projections, virtual 3D reconstructions, and 3D-printed scale models.
The exhibition concept is structured into two main sections. The first focuses on the context of Roman baths in Dacia, while the second presents three case studies from the archaeological sites of Mălăiești, Alburnus Maior, and Buridava. These are explored in detail through both curatorial texts and multimedia techniques, including holographic projections for the digital display of scanned artefacts, historical illustrations, and 3D-printed scale models of the reconstructed baths.
The exhibition is constructed from lightweight panels and modular, freestanding exhibition furniture, and proposes two modes of display: a vertical presentation, providing an overview of the broader context of the exhibition topic, and a horizontal, detailed presentation, allowing for an in-depth study of the individual case studies.
