This is our second collaboration with Casa Victoria, a patisserie that continues its process of modernizing its spaces while maintaining the same concept previously applied — a contemporary reinterpretation that remains faithful to the brand’s essence.
This particular project focuses on Casa Victoria’s very first location, opened 20 years ago — a small space, yet one with deep emotional value for the family. Our goal was to give it a fresh, modern look without compromising the brand’s well-established identity, while also evoking the tradition and elegance that define the patisserie.
With an interior surface of only 45 sqm, the design challenge was to create the illusion of a more spacious and open area. To achieve this, we incorporated mirror cladding on the furniture elements, enhancing the perception of depth and brightness. Another key feature of the visual composition was the flooring, where we chose a diagonally laid checkerboard pattern. This not only recalls the classic style of European cafés but also adds visual dynamism to the space.
In terms of color, we stayed true to the brand’s signature palette — using deep reds and chocolate tones, accented by vibrant red highlights, the defining color of Casa Victoria. The wall finishes, designed in three horizontal bands of warm beige tones, are a playful reference to the layered colors of a cake. These warm hues help create an inviting atmosphere and the perfect setting for showcasing the patisserie’s artisanal products.
Outdoors, we reconfigured the 36 sqm courtyard to include a 16 sqm covered and partially enclosed terrace, providing a sheltered area that can be used in various weather conditions.
Through this intervention, our aim was to design a space that blends functionality with aesthetics, maximizes every square meter, and preserves the distinctive charm of the Casa Victoria brand.
