Condesa

Authors’ Comment

Condesa is a contemporary Mexican cocktail bar and restaurant.

It has two floors of different atmosphere such that a returning client could experience diverse environments.

The challenge was to say Mexico without saying Mexico. The inspiration comes from characteristic elements of the Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City.

The ground floor is all made of see through bricks, a common feature in Mexico's architecture while the first floor features a rich tropical themed wallpaper, a screen of old colonial shutters and huge industrial lamps.
