Authors’ Comment

The newest Beautik perfume shop is located in one of Bucharest’s most popular shopping centers. For this project, the biggest challenge was to imagine a contemporary design that brings together modern materials and elements of surprise in order to create an immersive shopping experience.

Upon entering the store, two cylindrical stainless steel pillars mark the entrance, each incorporating a LED screen that appears to be cut out from the center. The branded façade sets the tone for the interior color scheme — dark blue and desaturated green — which, combined with the stainless steel, create a fresh and playful atmosphere.

The floor is made of black and white terrazzo with visible granulation and a glossy finish, adding a dynamic feel while reflecting the lights above.

The space revolves around a large central island, supported by four stainless steel pillars that hold three circular shelves and a white statue. Suspended above this ensemble, a 2.5-meter silver sphere reflects its surroundings, becoming the store’s most Instagram-worthy spot.

The adjoining walls are finished with textured plaster embedded with golden particles, bringing warmth to the space. Storage is integrated into arched niches carved into these walls. The arches feature stainless steel framing elements and a green mosaic. At their base, large blue drawers with oversized spherical handles complete the composition and add a surprising visual element.

The reception desk is a solid, sculptural piece finished in the same green mosaic, with an integrated illuminated shelf. The backdrop of the reception area features a larger-format green mosaic that serves as the background for a large LED screen. Adjacent to the reception, a spacious niche is designed as an exhibition area for artists, adding a dynamic and cultural layer to the store.

The overall ambience of the Beautik perfumery is designed to inspire an effervescent atmosphere and enhance the sensory experience of fragrance and design for every visitor.
