Reconciling the Forgotten City.
The ONEF Stadium: An Active Method of Working with History.

The project proposes an intervention on a vulnerable urban fabric, treating fragility not as a limitation, but as a resource.
The addition becomes a gesture of continuity, not of contrast — a new structure that does not burden, but supports.
The boundary, in turn, is neither demolished nor ignored. At the points of contact with the contemporary city, as well as at the points where it meets traces of the old city, the boundary is fragmented, generating access mechanisms into what will become "the garden of objects" — the Uranus Garden.
This garden, deliberately called a garden and not a park, is not merely a green space, but a garden in the most personal sense of perception. It is the garden of the monumental house, of the cathedral, and of the stadium — the new space that connects them to the city and opens a dialogue between intersecting times and a present that seeks reconciliation.
It becomes a space of encounter between memory and future, between fragments of the past and a city learning to live with it.
The stadium is the recovered structure through which this mediation is sought.
The object is no longer the goal, but the mean — an object that is almost not new, but rather a subtle addition that holds together what already exists.
