Authors’ Comment

The house will be built in Vidra, Ilfov county, in a recently subdivided area.
The volumetric approach is a compact one, with influences from the architecture of Scandinavian homes. This inspiration is also suggested by the exterior finishes used. The determining factor for the chosen planimetric solution was the relatively small surface of the land, so we chose the option of a much smaller footprint to allow a more varied use of the yard. Inside, the living area becomes the reference point, in the horizontal plane the direct transition to the outside is made and by creating a loft area an amplification of the space is created vertically.
The project is a manifesto for decency and simplicity in the context of living on the outskirts of the city.
