TOTEMS, FRAMES, PLANTS, AND CHROME YELLOW
Navy blue frames, plants, and 35 square meters of contrasting paint on the right-side corner – wayfinding signage for Sector 1 gallery. Polystyrene painted black, a needle resting against the wall, totems, paintings, and installations mixed with plants and furniture pieces.
Navy blue band, interrupted with chrome yellow, mixed with black wings.
Interior design and exhibition design, without clear boundaries between areas; paintings on the walls of an oversized living room or sofas in a contemporary art exhibition.
Upstairs, weird glazed alien trinkets in-between shrubs.
Trinkets amongst plants on the balcony.
Ingredients - 60% metaphor (half of which - aliens), 20% vegetation (half of which - shrubs), 10% frames (half of which - 90 x 90 x 90cm), and 10% chrome yellow (half of which on a wall). "Interior design" for the aliens on the balcony, who look down upon visitors lost through the fig trees and armchairs.
Mixture of polystyrene and navy blue.
Combinations of rust and chrome yellow.
Mixture of cyclops and chlorophyll.
