The addiction treatment center is designed as an integrated and normalized part of the community, avoiding the perception of a medical institution and promoting the social reintegration of patients. Its architecture aims to resemble the surrounding houses, reinterprating certain characteristics of the traditional homes in Dumbravita, using specific local materials, as well as a scale compatible with the existing urban environment. Its placement in a residential neighborhood near the forest was intended to balance the removal of stigmatization associated with patients with the benefits provided by a natural setting for the treatment process.
