The project studies the possibility of extension for an old school in order to reach both the capacity and the coherent functional, sustainability and comfort parameters for a modern educational facility. The design proposal had focused on integrating the required functions with highest sensitivity towards the existing environment. This was translated into three lines of action: one meant responding accurately to the educational as well as the public services facilities, another one aimed for a unitary space, where the two plots are considered as one coherent ensemble, using a common architectural and urban language, while the last one tackled the issue of sustainability and ecological interventions.Related projects:
