Authors’ Comment

The MB store, beyond the image itself, has the distinct feature of being a prototype that can be further applied to other MB commercial spaces. The design, located in a previous industrial site, uses some key elements, which result from the brand’s definition: movement, strong textures and, last, but not least, the attention paid to their identity. We are talking, therefore, about a specific image, in which every element is custom made, whether we refer to furniture of sanitary objects. The lighting objects, the decorative elements and the labeling of certain spaces borrow and transform elements such as rims, tires or roads signs. The picture is completed by some outstanding objects, such as the cash register, which rests on a motorbike. All this comes in addition to the differential treatments of the surfaces: scraped brick, stained wood, concrete and, finally, graffiti.
