Set on the 18th floor of the Euro Tower building in Bucharest, the office spans approximately 500 sqm and accommodates around 50 workstations for a young team within a group of small companies operating in the creative sector. The interior was conceived as a shared workplace with a distinct identity, supporting both focused work and collaboration.
The concept is shaped by a series of geometric elements repeated throughout the space, creating a clear visual rhythm. The zig-zag becomes the main motif, appearing both in the acoustic panels suspended above the work areas and in the vertical dividers. Beyond their visual impact, the PET felt panels also improve acoustic comfort within the open-plan workspace.
The colour palette is based on soft pastel tones, with sage green, powder pink and terracotta accents. The phone booths and small meeting rooms are grouped along the same wall and differentiated through colour, giving each room its own character. At the same time, recurring timber details, green carpet and decorative lighting create a visual link between the five spaces.
The kitchen and lounge reinterpret elements which are already present throughout the office in a more relaxed setting. Here, the palette becomes more contrasting, with terracotta paired with shades of blue. Circular forms and curved volumes appear in both the furniture and the acoustic elements, extending the geometric language of the interior into a more informal atmosphere suited to the shared areas.
Throughout the project, existing elements were retained and adapted wherever possible. Part of the original partitioning was preserved following a careful analysis carried out together with the client before the final layout was established. The existing building services were kept and updated to comply with current regulations, while several furniture pieces from the former office were relocated and reintegrated into the new interior. The sustainable approach also extends to the newly specified elements, through the selection of durable, ergonomic finishes and furniture designed for long-term use and future reuse.
The result is a workspace that can evolve alongside the team and its changing needs while maintaining a clear and recognisable character. Colour, geometry and materiality give the interior its personality and contribute to a dynamic atmosphere that reflects the creative profile of its users.
