Designed for connection

The project was shaped by three main objectives: creating continuity with the existing 4th-floor design, improving the workplace experience, and accommodating up to 600 employees without compromising comfort and wellbeing.

Existing elements such as exposed concrete, brick and graffiti-inspired accents were reinterpreted and complemented by wooden slats, used to define circulation routes and create more intimate breakout areas.

The extensive floorplate was organized as a dynamic and intuitive environment through diagonal circulation routes and curved elements. These create distinct spatial sequences and give the interior its organic character, highlighted by curved-glass meeting rooms and a new typology of informal meeting spaces.

Acoustic comfort was a key priority. The open ceiling is combined with suspended acoustic “islands”, acoustic panels and high-performance materials throughout the space. To avoid the “warehouse” effect of a large open-plan office, workstations were organized in clusters of up to 24 people, each with direct access to formal and informal support functions. Height-adjustable desks and ergonomic seating further support everyday comfort.

Neurodiversity principles were integrated into key areas of the project through different finishes, colours and levels of sensory stimulation, supporting both focus and relaxation.

The cafeteria and adjacent terrace complete the workplace experience through natural light, planting, colour and varied furniture typologies, creating an informal environment for interaction and relaxation.

Overall, the project creates a flexible, dynamic and inclusive workplace, where functionality, identity and wellbeing work together.
